Alyssa reviews each case and associated rules, gives parties an opportunity to be heard, listens respectfully, treats people with dignity, and resolves matters based on the facts determined by the evidence presented and existing law. Alyssa maintains an open mind and carefully considers the issues, without losing sight of the people in front of her who rely on our court system to defend and protect our rights and freedoms.
Alyssa presides with integrity over civil and criminal matters in District Court. She hears domestic cases as a designated Family Court Judge. Alyssa conducts bench and jury trials, first appearances, probable cause hearings.
